Community driven outreach program
Supporting the African diaspora in Washington to address health inequities related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our mission
We provide grants to community-based organizations, leaders, and media partners working with the African diaspora in Washington state to address health inequities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
African community groups in Washington are actively working to alleviate health equity problems caused by the pandemic. Our goal is to amplify their work by connecting these community groups to funding opportunities from the Washington State Department of Health, while also providing one-to-one support from our team.
Our vision
An empowered network of community-based organizations and businesses that help close the gaps in health equity for African communities in Washington through outreach, education, cultural events, media campaigns, and the arts.
